FNSI for September
Once again many thanks to Wendy of Sugarlane Designs for inviting us - just click on the link to go and see what everyone has been sewing.
I have been sewing this afternoon along with my Australian friends as we are going out this evening - there is a certain World Cup about to start and a big screen that is calling to Philip!
So I have spent the afternoon finishing off my CQJP block for the month - finished nice and early so I can get on with some more projects and some Christmas sewing.
So here is my finished block
and of course a few close ups.
During my coffee break I watched the first lesson of Edyta Sitars new course on Craftsy which I treated myself to earlier in the week. Looking good so far.
Hope you all had a good evening.
Nicely done!
ReplyDeleteOhhhhh, I love it! You were quick getting your sewing and your blogging all done!
ReplyDeleteSo many beautiful details!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful - love the stitching and the colours are stunning. We are watching the rugby now and stressing about the ref awarding Fiji a try and then as they are about to take the conversion - the try played on the big screen and the ref changing his mind and taking the try off Fiji - never seen that before - very interesting. I am sure your Philip will have enjoyed the game. Bonus points for England who he is probably supporting. Fun... fun....
ReplyDeleteBeautiful block Lin and such lovely stitching.Hope you enjoyed your tutorial x
ReplyDeletewow! another magnificent block Lin.

How lovely!!!! You do such gorgeous stitching, hon. Which Edyta class are you taking? I treated myself to the Garden of Possibilities one awhile ago, and really enjoyed it.

ReplyDeleteHello Lin. Like I have said before, it is such a joy seeing your Crazy blocks, I love every one of them, your embroidery is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI also treated myself with Edyta's new course, but have not started yet, have to finish hers "Tree of Life" first, a scrappy quilt I'm making for my daughter.
Hope you and Philippe enjoyed the game.
Take care
So much creativity in this block.....I just love it and everytime I look at it again, I see something I missed the first time. Beautiful!

WOW! Your block is totally stunning. I love the spider. Looks like it might just get up and walk off the fabric.

What an awesome block!! I found myself staring at the spider in its web, such a neat addition. Have you taken a Craftsy class before? What do you think of them?
