Linking up with Anthea at Hibiscus Stitches for this months CTTY update. I thought I had better get cracking on a few more gifts this month so have a few in progress shots to show.
First of all I have a production line of wheat bags on the go
Loosely based on an Anni Downs design you can see some I made earlier in the year here.
These pieces of decorated felt have been cut out ready to sew up into some secret stitching.
And this little Jenny of Elefantz owl is now a complete project apart from her eyes and I need to find suitable buttons for those.
This is a little crazy lavender sachet aprox 4" x 4"
I hope to make at least two more of these if I get a chance.
Autumn is now in full swing - we have lit our first fires of the season and had several frosts.
This walnut tree glowed in the mist when the sun struggled to come through the other morning.
Sadly a very poor crop of walnuts this year.
And a little more autumn colour.
IT's FSNI tomorrow night so if you have not signed up yet then pop over to Wendy's blog now and do so.
Happy stitching
Lots of lovelies...the little sachet is very sweet and a great gift idea as well :)
ReplyDeleteThe lovely colours are among the good points of Autumn, aren't they!
ReplyDeleteGreat gift ideas and love your Fall photos.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a fun weekend.
Plenty of eye candy here! Does the production of walnuts cycle? I didn't have a very good blueberry crop this year, either.
ReplyDeleteYour little owl is precious. So cute! But I think the lavender heart is a show stopper. You always seems to know exactly which stitches to use and what works best. Awesome job. I love it. Enjoy the colourful Autumn. ;^)
ReplyDeleteHello Lin,
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful variety of projects, love the Lavender heart. What is the owl going to be, it is a great design. Completely forgot about the sew in, hope you have a good night.
Happy days.
Bev.
Lovely variety of projects. I love that owl, I also have complete one, and is wondering what to do with it, LOL
ReplyDeleteYour lavender sachet is so beautiful. Isn't the Autumn the most beautiful part of the year. I love it, can never get enough of all these wonderful colors around me here in Luxembourg. Have a great FNSI.
You have been busy! Lovely!
ReplyDeleteGreat finishes and lovely fall colors.
ReplyDeleteYou have a range of different projects on the go... the autumn colours are looking good

You're certainly keeping busy, those wheat bags look lovely, someone is going to be very pleased to receive one of those as a present.
