And I am linking up with Anthea at Hibiscus Stitches for another Piece Yourself Together.
Many thanks Anthea.
Not much to show from this end - the weather has been so awful that I have still not been able to get a decent picture of my Hexathon quilt. I have made my RSC tumbling blocks for the month - it's light and medium blue this month.
I have cut back on swap hexies - just one group now - here is my January flower winging it's way to Australia.
I love this colour combination.
Now, about the weather! After all the rain we now have flooding in the valley. Popped out between showers yesterday afternoon to take some pictures.
OK so back to packing for Spain - hopefully my next pictures will be sunnier!
I am also linking up with ScrapHappy Saturday RSC and
Heather at Books and Quilts for Stitch'n Time
Pretty stitching, Lin!
ReplyDeleteI love your tumbling block, great colours!
Oh, how sad, I hate it when places flood ..... makes life so difficult for the animals and for people!
Hope you have a safe journey, and a wonderful holiday!

Oh, my word, those floods - all that water will take some time to drain, won't it!
ReplyDeleteThose tumbling blocks are wonderful, great contrast! And I do love your flower! Wow that's a lot of water, I hope everyone is ok!
ReplyDeleteYour tumbling blocks look amazing Lin and the hexie is very pretty, the flooding looks bad, lucky you are up higher. I hope you get some sunshine in Spain.

It always amazes me how the water changes the landscape in a flood.... lovely hexagons and I hope you are all packed now?

Love your pink rosette. Beautiful color combo. Sorry about the flooding. It's an ugly winter here too. We are to get up to +5 this weekend. Snow is melting then freezing, then thaws, then ... very dangerous driving because you never know when it will flash freeze again. This morning we had a thunderstorm with lightning and all. Go figure! Bon voyage! ;^)
ReplyDeleteLove your blue blocks! Have a great time in Spain and hopefully it is less rainy!
ReplyDeleteI like the colour combination too. Pretty. That's a lot of flooding.
ReplyDeleteSo much rain and flooding! I love your tumbling blocks - it's always one of my favourite designs x
ReplyDeleteGood heavens Lin, that flooding looks incredible... hope not too much damage caused.

The fabrics in the tumbling blocks are lovely.
ReplyDeleteSome very lovely paper piecing Lin. Hope the weather is better for you in Spain.
ReplyDeleteOh, my gosh, will the flooding impact your house? That's rather scary! I hope that you're okay. I love seeing your paper piecing projects and it looks like you're making great progress.
ReplyDeleteHappy sewing,
Judy
hope the flooding is easing...send some rain this way..........
ReplyDeleteSo much rain and flooding! The last I heard, Paris was under threat of flooding. Your paper piecing is really pretty!
ReplyDeleteI love the way the proper placement of colour on the tumbling blocks really makes them appear 3D. Well done.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up with Stitch'n Time
