FNwF August

For Friday Night with Friends this month I had decided that I would complete the next round on my 1797 Revisited quilt. I had been adding hexies at odd times over the last couple of weeks and decided now was the time. Well, time passed and come bedtime I was nearly there but I still had a few to go.
Eventually I finished the round off yesterday evening.

Feeling very pleased as this is the last complete round - I can start squaring off now. First though I need to decide what colour to go for.

Many thanks to Cheryll for getting us together again - pop across to her blog for the links to everyone else who joined in.

  2. I love the colours you have used - maybe the corners can be the same colours but reversed...

  3. I am in awe of your beautiful hexies! I can’t do them. I just cannot make so many of those. I’ve never even made one and I know I would not make thousands for a quilt or even anything small. Not even a postcard. LOL Many stitchers make them while watching TV but I don’t watch TV. Yours are very pretty. They look like hand dyed fabrics.

  4. Wow! Lin, it looks gorgeous! Am wondering how big it is and what size it will end up when finished off. Lots of hexies going on. Great job!
