Lovely things in the post!

Yesterdays post brought two delightful treats.

The first a postcard from Monika Kinner-Whalen part of the Canada Day postcard swap.
The theme for the swap was 'Maple Leaf' and here is the card I received from Monika.

The lovely rich colours of these leaves give it an autumnal feel as though the leaves are gently floating in the sky.

The second treat was this pretty little ATC from Susan.

I love that little rabbit!

In the garden the pomegranates have a few flowers on them

I do love these flowers.

Hope you are having a good week.

  1. Hi Lin, glad your ATC arrived safe and sound. Don't remeber where I got the little rabbits from they where blue and pink. I just came across that one in a bits and bobs pot. WOW! love the flowers I don't think I've ever seen a pomegrante flower, so thanks for sharing. X:)

  6. I love pomegranates. You are so clever to be able to grow them. I tried - and failed - with the seeds you gave me some years ago. Then I bought a plant that was meant to give great flowers rather then fruit - haven't seen a flower yet! I expect you know that they are the national fruit of Armenia. I saw lots of glorious flowering pomegrante bushes there last month. Also tiny, gold ones decorating ancient jewellery in the museums. XXX Julie

  7. That's so nice that you received one of Monika's postcards! There's a possibility that I just might get to meet her at the end of this month. Beautiful pomegranate flower. I've never seen one before.
