And orange is looking good so far. My log cabins are finished in good time and looking very, well, orange! The sweet little embroidery embroidery is from Jennifer.
I am also enjoying my orange Stitch Journal page. Larger sections to fill this month but they are filling up nicely I think.
I am linking up with Angela for Scrap Happy Saturday.
Thanks for popping in and have a lovely weekend.
It's wonderful how each of the log cabin's chimney fabric draws your attention to the center of the block. It could almost be an iSpy quilt. Lovely slow stitch work.
ReplyDeleteLots of orange this month. Interesting to see the different shades.
ReplyDeleteNice job, Lin. Your embroidery is extraordinary and the blocks are cute too!
ReplyDeleteIts all looking very pretty & cheery Lin. My husbands favorite colour is orange so he would love all your work 🧡 I hope you have a lovely weekend too xx
ReplyDeleteYour log cabin blocks are pretty in orange! I love the one with the embroidered center. Your stitch journal looks like a fun project, too. Do you have a page for each month?
ReplyDeletePretty orange blocks and even prettier embroidery!
ReplyDeleteLove your embroidery. The one completely to the left has a very intriguing stitch with a wave in between the top and the bottom. I'm in love with it. They are all so lovely. Enjoy! ;^)
ReplyDeleteOrange is a wonderful colour for livening up things (our front door is orange!) - looks wonderful, Lin.
ReplyDeleteGreat orange blocks Lin, the log cabins look good and I love your stitches...

Orange is such a cheering colour!
ReplyDeleteOrange can be a challenge for me. You have some really pretty fabrics in your quilt blocks and the orange stitch journal page is looking good!
ReplyDeleteI find orange a very hard colour to work with. Well done on your blocks and stitchery.
ReplyDeleteThe embroidery is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteMuch joy to you.
Have a nice August.
Hug from Viola
Your hand stitching is always a joy to look at. Keep it coming. It looks nice in orange for our RSC month of August.
ReplyDeleteLovely stitching Lin, I like the colours.
ReplyDeleteYour oranges are quilt lovely. Is your stitch journal page done with a pattern, or do you improvise/sew what you want?
